Whoever packed my face with that cement over night was really rude — to add insult to injury the sandpaper in my throat was a little unnecessary. Anyway, I had a good little 2.18 miler — at a little under 10 minutes a mile. Why? I forgot water and was really thirsty, so I hustled back. It’s chilly in Pittsburgh again — around 48 degrees when I started on my little jaunt. Other notable things were, I didn’t listen to music at all (I had it with me just in case) electing to listen to my footfalls and breathing. Breathing good, footfalls, good. I ran in my Merrell trail gloves, so the cement sidewalk was a little much. I elected to take the alleys back, but runkeeper isn’t so good at mapping that! All in all, a good little run. No zombies. A touch disappointed.
